SCIPIO TOWNSHIP
Scipio Township is a civil township of Hillsdale County in the state of Michigan.
Scipio Township contains two communities, Mosherville and Mosherville Station. Mosherville is an unincorporated community located at the headwaters of the Kalamazoo River.
The Township has a total area of 29.45 square miles, of which 29.21 square miles is land and 0.24 square miles is water.
In March of 1836 Scipio Township was created from a portion of Fayette Township, the northwestern township in the original group of four Hillsdale County townships.

VOTING LOCATION
The Election Voting Location is now at Scipio Township located at 11180 Concord Rd., Mosherville, Michigan.
TRANSFER
STATION
Scipio Township is pleased to offer solid waste management and recycling services to the residents of Scipio Township. The Scipio Township Transfer Station is located at 1200 East Sterling Road, Jonesville, Michigan.
The Transfer Station is open every Saturday:
Summer Hours (April - November)
8 am to 4 pm
Winter Hours (December - March)
8 am to 2 pm.
